How to sign up?

Register to paddle the 10.8 mile stretch of the Yadkin River from Huntsville to Tanglewood, followed by music by Chalwa (reggae band from Asheville), great food by The Spring House Restaurant, wine by Raffaldini Vineyards and beer by Foothills Brewing, plus fabulous prizes at the after-party at Tanglewood Park Shelter 2.

After you register, you will be prompted to make a personal fundraising page to raise $$ for clean water. While this is optional, paddlers* who raise a minimum of $50 will be eligible to win great prizes!

REGISTER FOR PADDLE-A-THON

How to register and how much does it cost?

Registrations and pledges are accepted safely and securely online at YadkinRiverkeeper.org - which makes it easy to ask friends, family and coworkers to sponsor each paddler’s participation and to track their fundraising efforts.

All paddlers must register.

Paddlers with their own boats are charged a $20 fee per person per day to cover insurance, shuttle, processing fees and entry to post-paddle events.

Since this is a fundraiser, you are encouraged to raise a minimum of $50 ($20 entry fee plus $30+ from your friends) to get a custom-designed buff and an all-access pass to the post-paddle, family-friendly celebration with free beer, food and music.

Raise even more money to qualify to win a new kayak, REI outdoor gear, Maui Jim sunglasses, trips and more. Money raised through the Paddle-A-Thon supports the clean water efforts of Yadkin Riverkeeper to keep the Yadkin River fishable, swimmable and drinkable.

Don’t have a canoe or kayak? Yadkin Riverkeeper has negotiated preferred rates for kayak rental (holds one person, $28 per day) or canoe rental (holds two people, $44 per day). Rental charges are in addition to your entry fee and amounts that you fundraise.

*Yadkin Riverkeeper employees and Board members are not eligible for prizes.
