This is the second paddle in our Yakin’ on the Yadkin paddle series to celebrate the Year of the Trail!

Paddle from the proposed new Ararat River access area on Pilot Mountain State Park land at the confluence of the Yadkin and the Ararat through the Shoals to the riverside campsites at the Pilot Mountain State Park River Section along the Ivy Bluff Trail. Option to camp overnight and continue to paddle to a private take out just below the still closed Donnaha access area or take out at the campsites. Dinner and breakfast included for overnight campers. Paddle, camping, breakfast and dinner $75, with boat $90.
