Examining Environmental Injustice in the Yadkin River Basin

Come to the free public unveiling of a StoryMap that analyzes environmental injustice in the Yadkin River Watershed. This project was completed by Yadkin Riverkeeper staff and Spatial Justice Studio Fellows Bailey Hill and Grace Fuchs. After the presentation of the map, Grace and Bailey will moderate a panel discussion from environmental justice advocates in Winston-Salem.

  • Jerelyn Travick - Resident Leader with Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods (Northwood Estates Neighborhood Association)

  • Jackie Johnson - Resident of Northeast Winston-Salem affected by erosion
