Join the North Carolina Wildlife Federation's Uwharrie Wildlife Stewards Chapter and Yadkin Riverkeeper for a shoreline and access area cleanup on September 18 as part of Rowan Creek Week. Bring your own kayak or canoe or request a kayak to help with a shoreline cleanup of trash and debris or assist with picking up trash around the Flat Creek Access Area. Registration starts at 2 PM at the Flat Creek Access Area located at 450 Wildlife Access Road, Richfield, NC 28137. Trash pickers, bags and gloves will be provided. A limited number of loaner boats are available to reserve so request yours today.
