Yadkin Riverkeeper Spring Appeal

Dear Friends,

Spring is here, and the River is waking up.

Soon, families will be back on the water. Paddlers will return to their favorite stretches. Kids will skip rocks along the banks. It is one of the most important times of year for the Yadkin River, and for the people who depend on it.

At Yadkin Riverkeeper, this is when our work ramps up. We are preparing to monitor water quality, respond to pollution concerns, and help ensure that people can safely access and enjoy the River. Through our work on the Yadkin River State Trail, we are also helping make more sections of the River accessible so more people can experience it firsthand.

Because when people get on the water, something shifts. They see its beauty. They understand its value. And they are more likely to protect it.

Your support makes all of this possible. It helps us show up when issues arise, keep the public informed, and continue building a future where the River is both protected and enjoyed.

As we head into this new season, would you consider making a spring gift to support this work?

Any amount helps us prepare for the months ahead and ensures we are ready when the River needs us most.

Thank you for being part of this work and for caring about the River that connects us all.

For the River,

Edgar Miller
Executive Director
Yadkin Riverkeeper

P.S. Spring is when the River comes back to life, and when our work matters most. Your support helps keep it safe, accessible, and protected for everyone who steps into it year-round.
